@ I was wondering how much the Black Mamba parallel cards cost but I seen nothing on eBay or anywhere else so I’m gonna guess that it’s very rare but I’m not too sure

The jersey itself was about 400, which is on par with their pricing for their authentics. I don't believe they made replica versions of this jersey. I do hope they make replicas, I would love to get a couple replicas instead of only 1 authentic this time around.

@@lmaostopbro yeah, sounds about right. I follow The Dodgers and Nike on social media, they usually give you the info on when they're going to drop. I want to say it was maybe a month before the season started because I remember getting mine before the 1st game of the season.

@@borsche28 right on. I also did some research on the internet and they did in fact release a Nike limited for the Rangers Gold Collection last year. Plenty of those Jersey’s are also still on sale online too. So you’re talking about 175-195 starting to maybe about 230 with taxes. Instead of the 400 dollar haul. @ollie8529 I'm a baseball fan. And I was born and raised in Los Angeles. When the Dodgers in the 90's and 2000's weren't contending, I would still watch baseball games on tv. It just so happens the Yankees were always on to watch. One of my favorite players in those Yankee teams was Bernie Williams. I went to this game because I wanted to see Derek Jeter play for one last time. I did it for Ken Griffey Jr., too. So, I love the game of baseball first, but the Dodgers are my team. Dodgers sold tickets for $23 each. They sold out in seconds. Then half showed up on stubhub for $500-$3000 later. And yet there was still empty seats. So lots of people bought them for resale but just ate the loss instead of going. The tickets should've cost MORE.

The refutation of @plato6460's nonsensical answer. That is completely illogical, unreasonable and irrational. That would have given David Blaine less than a (1/52 x 1/52) 0.03698224852% of a chance of pulling off the trick. That is because there is only one 3 of hearts in the deck for Noah/Noe to choose, and there are either 0 or 1 cards with the 3 of hearts on it, the Queen of Spades. Additionally, if that were the case, then the people who took their decks of cards home would have their cards all turn to 3 of hearts once they have been exposed to even a wee bit of heat like remaining in their pockets for a minute.

She is holding the 3 of hearts too.

You are blatantly wrong. The cuts were randomised between 12,000 people. The random volunteers who are unrelated to David (4 of them) chose many of the numbers involved in this magic.

@@stlouisix3 The cuts were only randomized within the parameters that David set it at. Remember, he asked them to make a cut, flip it around, and then make another cut that is noticeably DEEPER than the first cut. Because the second cut is deeper than the first, this creates a small set of cards in the middle that is made up of the top cards from the fresh deck which are still in the original order (joker, ace, two, three, etc). For the seated volunteer that the chose the number (1-5): based on the number chosen, David will give the audience different directions to get the card that he wants you to pick. A 3 or 4 is the easiest, because he wants you to pick the 4th card (counting to 3 and then picking next card, OR just picking the 4th card). If the volunteer had chosen a 1,2, or 5, then the directions would become more elaborate in order for you to get to the 4th card. And, with the 2 other audience members, I've already explained how he makes them choose the cards he wants them to choose.

The reason you were unable to get the magic to work again is because it was preternatural magic. It was sorcery. David Blaine is a wizard, literally.

All decks of the same type will have the exact same sorting. Some brands will have different sorting than others, but they all pretty much do it numerically. Usually the Joker is put first. Some brands may also include an instruction card or multiple jokers that may be put first or at the bottom. I think there is a high likelihood that this particular sealed deck had the joker first, then ace, then two, then three, etc. which is why the 3 of hearts that was picked was the 4th card.

@@mkygod- huh? But everyone cut the deck differently. Wouldn’t explain how everyone then had the same card picked out.

@@borsche28 Three of hearts was the fourth card in every deck. If you have a deck handy, look at the fourth card from the top and repeat the moves and see what you get 🙂
